Fertiga’s CMO became a honorary member of BSRM!
Fertiga is very proud with the recognition of our CMO Prof. Dr. Johan Smitz as an honorary member of the Belgian Society for Reproductive Medicine during the latest Autumn meeting.
This is a well deserved acknowledgement after Prof. Smitz’ extraordinary research contribution to better understand the follicle and the oocyte development and its regulation at different stages of folliculogenesis in animal models (mouse, guinea pig, bovine, goat) and human.
Fertiga’s Aurora Test, is a direct result from Prof. Smitz’ important involvement in the development of new diagnostic technologies to predict oocyte competence for pregnancy outcomes in women undergoing IVF treatments. We are happy to be part of this and improve IVF patients’ lifes.
